Emre Umar is an executive professional who specializes in providing high-quality medical services to correctional facilities. A Pennsylvania State University alumnus who studied quantitative business analysis, Emre has managed operations in the correctional healthcare sector for over twenty years. He is now the President of Correctional Medical Care (CMC), which is headquartered in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
Emre began his career at a small correctional healthcare company shortly after graduating from Penn State. He took the reins at the company and oversaw its development across six states. In under a decade the company had grown its annual revenue twelvefold and delivered quality healthcare services to facilities ranging in size from 300 to 3,600 inmates. As an administrator Emre demonstrated financial prudence while monitoring quality improvement and utilization review programs to ensure all standards were still met.
Now, as the President of CMC, Emre Umar takes a two-pronged approach to his career. He consistently seeks out new opportunities for growth, but manages all existing fiscal and administrative matters to ensure systematic and consistent success. He manages an exceptional corporate staff who provide customized healthcare services in line with facility accreditation.
Outside of his work with CMC, Emre is a sports enthusiast and he regularly plays golf at his local country club. He is an active member of his community, and he and his wife Maria support the nonprofit organization Pajama Program, which provides new pajamas and books to children in need.
